“I was told by a friend about this podcast and had a few reservations at first about whether I would enjoy a gaming podcast. I quit video games in highschool due to a deep obsession with Diablo II and have kept my distance since as I way to regulate what I see as an addictive behavior.
Beginning with the episodes on Final Fantasy IX (my all-time favorite gaming experience) I have listened to most of the episodes and delight not only in the nostalgia when they activate my own memories but also the clear and critical analysis. I work in book and exhibition design/curation and I enjoy hearing such professional and high-level insight into user experience. These aspects of games play out in any kind of offering for public consumption, be it literature or theatre or movies as referenced in the podcast, or my own passion/career in fine art and comics.
Rock on fellas--you're a delight and a soundtrack to drawing 8+ hours a day!”Read full review »

Finally played along to a series of episodes with A Link to the Past, and it's an amazing experience if...”Read full review »
