Deep-cuts analysis served with cherry pie and coffee
This podcast finds a perfect balance of cultural studies-type analysis and fun pop culture ("cherry pie and coffee") discussion. It's intelligent and thoughtful without ever getting pretentious. The hosts are delightfully genuine and funny and I've thoroughly enjoyed each episode. As an academic specializing in American cultural studies, but who can't stand another minute of academia-infused posturing, I'm thrilled to have found this show. Thanks so much to the hosts!Read full review »

Imagine the warm heart of freshly baked cherry pie. Add enthusiasm, clever insights and a willingness to engage with the public on all manner of Twin Peaks speculation and you have this excellent podcast. They are safe guides for our return journey.
