Horrible
Let me start out by saying I love the betches content! I’m a huge supporter of betchslappped and U UP but this podcast is HORRIBLE. Aleen and Sami are the perfect example of slaves to the diet industry. Neither of them know anything about nutrition or wellness. Both were clearly raised with a lot fat phobia in their family and have had bad eating habits since childhood. This podcast is extremely triggering for those recovering from an eating disorder. Their restrictive relationship with food and exercise deeply saddens me. Within the first few minutes they talk about how they’re craving sugar but not allowing themselves to have it. Have fun binge eating and regaining all the weight back! How about intuitive eating and body acceptance? You’re basically telling the listeners that you have to be miserable to be skinny and skinny is superior. This is a miserable way to live your life and I can’t believe you’re feeding this information to young, impressionable viewers. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. Wow, you should be ashamed. Please think about the consequences and reconsider your message.

The betches are funny and entertaining, but I wouldn’t use this podcast for health advice (so far). Confused about the self-loathing WHILE they are also talking about how not to self-loathe. Yeah it’s probably relatable for a lot of girls, but I wouldn’t say it’s going to get you any further in...Read full review »
