Whitney does a tremendous amount of work on this podcast. It’s informative and entertaining at the same time. She and Tim and endearing. I appreciate their banter and sharing of their lives. Keep up the great work! I’ve been binging this the past month and so happy I found your podcast!

I just found the pod today and I’ve already listened to the first 12 episodes. I love the chemistry between you two. Whitney hits the research out the park. I can’t wait to hear more.

It seems like on average each episode has maybe 20 minutes of episode recap content at most. I probably won’t listen again now that I’m caught up, because it is just too much effort than is reasonable—having to skip forward and back and then either stopping each episode at the like 30 minute mark...Read full review »

I recently found the show & have been binge listening since. I remember watching the TV show when it aired & omg, Whitney mimicking Michelle is like a freaking time machine!!!!! I can picture it!!!!! Great show!!! Catching up to the present from show 1, up to episode 53. Your research is awesome for the digs. Have you thought of publishing them? Thank you for the escape from reality. Love Mildred!

I’ve been listening for a few months now, and it’s so great! The snark is balanced really nicely with in depth research on a whole range of related topics (about IBLP, other fundies, etc.) I also like when the hosts, Whitney and Tim, share about their own lives (and Mildred, their cat!). It feels...Read full review »

I’ve never written a podcast review before, but yours has been so much fun to listen to, I felt like I had to write. A recent episode made me belly laugh all alone, except for my two cats who gave me the stinkeye for disturbing their naps. Thanks so much for your entertaining snark on the Dug...Read full review »

This podcast is engagingly hosted, thoughtfully researched, and laugh-out-loud hysterical, all while Tim and Whitney demonstrate care and depth when snarking! I love it!

I really used to like this pod but it’s becoming less and less about the Duggars and more and more meandering personal stories. Maybe do a separate podcast for the tangents and leave this one for those interested in the Duggars and not a commercial you saw when you were 9 or whatever other dumb...Read full review »

I really enjoy this podcast and the delivery. However, I can’t with the pop culture references. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy a pop culture connection, but there are multiple kinds in each episode. Like, we get it, Tim, you know pop culture. It’s too much! Too much explanation of the reference just...Read full review »

Thank you for such a good podcast. I have been listening to catch up to present since December. I am enjoying your fundie content and learning more about this family’s lifestyle.

After listening to the January 11, 2024, show, my thought was, “We need more Whitney’s in the world.” Throughout these episodes, she shows immense sympathy and empathy. She is a sensitive soul, especially when it comes to those that are vulnerable. What would the world look like if we all led...Read full review »

Found this podcast as a suggestion in the app just the other week. I’ve been bingeing them ever since. I dread the day I’ll finally catch up. The hosts are fun to listen to and Whitney does some thorough researching.

I have been binging this podcast since I discovered it. It is exactly what I have been looking for in regards to the taking a deep dive into the mess that is the Duggar Family. The topic is interesting and i really want to listen. But i just cant get over the long meandering unrelated stories and the way the host is always repeating herself and IMO over explaining herself. She could get her point across with 60% less words.

If I hear creep say ‘Does anybody here believe it?’ one more time, I might pass away. Otherwise one if the best pods I’ve listened to.
FlashAnie via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 12/16/23
The deep dives are very well researched and interesting. The personal stories, and the way that they interrupt the flow of the podcast, has gotten to the point where it is nearly unlistenable for me. I really want to listen, but it’s sidetracked so often that I don’t think I can stomach it anymore.
MorganRenee via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 12/14/23
I want this to be consumable so badly, but it no longer is. Too much about their cat and their long meandering personal stories. It gives the feeling of when someone is telling you about a dream they had. I agree with a previous reviewer, it’s millennial cringe.

I came across this pod (I wish I had sooner!) and am catching up now, I just finished season 1 and I love it so much. Sure the audio wasn’t perfect at first but it’s far from the worst I’ve heard, y’all figured it out pretty quickly, and the content more than makes up for it! The Duggar deep dives are good. That’s why I’m here. The extra stuff is … extra. I don’t care. The prolific use of the F word shows a lack of intelligence. I listen to tons of podcasts. This podcast has been very educational for me. I swear a lot but never realized how incredibly irritating it is to listen to until I had to listen to this podcast. I really want to like this podcast - I love an obsessive deep dive into a weird pop culture phenomenon. The Duggar parts are great and very well researched. The “Digs” are deep dives into many different topics and it’s clear she spends a ton of time on them. I found this podcast recently (around episode 67) and have had a great time listening to the entire back catalog. My sister turned me on to this podcast a few weeks ago and I’ve been listening pretty much non-stop ever since. This podcast is great! The hosts are wonderful and so engaging. I like the recaps a lot. Hosts are very well-researched and great commentary. However I don’t like the tangents about Mildred, sorry. Pet stories just aren’t fun over audio. Especially vet stuff. So this humorous, irreverent take on IBLP & alt right Christianity examines the Duggars in depth. Can be very informational and easy to listen to, can also be a snooze fest about weird/unfunny personal anecdotes. Dear god no more “merp” or “anywhoozle” Sometimes it’s giving out of touch older millennial cringe.

I am impressed with Tim and Whitney. The podcast has in depth research on all things Duggar and IBLP. Whitney has a great deal of knowledge and Tim is a newcomer to the show.
