“If you are a true crime fan, this is one of the few podcasts of this genre that is the real deal. Christopher Goffard, reporter & host, is a top notch investigative journalist doing first rate and original work. Most of the true crime podcasts out there are fronted by non-journalists, non-lawyers, non-security personnel of any kind - in other words, mere lay people who do no more than relay what they have found in a newspaper or book or any public record that covers the crime in question. Someone with a 6th grade education & library card could do as much. Plus the theories and analyses they put forth are equivalent to what most of us do "around the water cooler" when discussing with our co-workers the crime of the day that is being covered by our local news outlet. Just because you have the equipment & know how to produce a podcast doesn't mean you should. They should leave it to more qualified people like Mr. Goffard to do this work.”Read full review »
