This podcast is my lifeline of clarity when things are completely hopeless and overwhelming.

Delightful! Erudite, witty, informative. Lovely voices, great lucid minds. Rousing signature tune also. It’s all to “like - like “

Anyone not aligned with the host’s far-left authoritarian views is a disorderer and of course antidemocratic. If you’ve listened to one episode, you’ve heard them all.

I look forward to every episode and am never disappointed. Each one is truly absorbing with some great guests. Alex and Jason’s ability to analyse complex situations and topics objectively whilst being honest and agreeably forthright on their own opinions is utterly refreshing. Please keep it...Read full review »

I listen every week. I enjoy the deep dive into global affairs and the status of the democracies, dictatorships and everything in between. Two great hosts who attract very interesting guests.

An excellent geopolitics podcast with 2 presenters who really care about justice, democracy and human rights across the world. Excellent guests from the world of international diplomacy.

Usually, I treat politics like the weather, something to be enjoyed or endured depending on conditions. Jason and Alexandra as hosts, and their guests, bring enthusiasm and experience to a lively debate on how can we, as a species (my wording), deal with the the constant change ‘dis-ordering’ our...Read full review »

This appears to be a valid take on what is causing current events.

Having listened to Alexandra Hall Hall’s unsupported assertions about moral clarity on 15 February, I think it’s time to unfollow this podcast. Anyone can assume an air of authority and make moral pronouncements. A good podcast takes a position of intellectual humility. It then provides...Read full review »

I listen to this podcast as a curiosity. I don’t have to pay too much attention because it never says anything new or intellectually demanding, but I find it fascinating to hear the worldviews of confused, slightly anxious Blair/Clinton era elites defining disorder as: people around the world not...Read full review »

Only a few minutes in it became apparent this is a one-sided, uneducated view.

The topics discussed are important and the guests are expert in their fields. But the anchor presenters manner and tendency to over direct the conversations and lecture make for clunky listening. I persevered for many episodes but unsubscribed when my irritation level’s proved too great. A...Read full review »

Excellent content, interesting and intelligent discourse and analysis, that unpicks the complicated world of geo politics in a balanced way. Our hosts styles of presentation compliment each other well. I never miss an episode, well done!

A very informative and interesting podcast which does a great job of examining key geopolitical and diplomatic issues. A must listen for anyone interested in democracy and order in the world.

Can the West exert enough energy to equilibrate the entropic disordering we are seeing? I’d love these two proponents, whom I admire, have on and debate Peter Zeihan, whom I also admire and follow. How about it?

I got through ten minutes of this episode and could not carry on. Who chose these people to talk about this issue? The incredible bias and unabashed pro Israeli stance was too much to bear. Even in the opening lines, the lady talked about the unconscionable Oct 7 attacks but the unfortunate...Read full review »

I’ve listened to all 14 ep released so far and it does not get any better. The potential was there with the hosts having first hand accounts of events but their Fukuyamaesque takes on political issues sound outdated to me as an American millennial. It’s also very narrow minded in its worldview...Read full review »

In the episode talking about lack of state control in Mexico. Host keeps talking about “black tar heroin” despite the guest explaining why synthetic drugs have replaced heroin. Literally concludes with their solution of “I’m a bit of a lefty but believe in more policing.” Without feeling the need...Read full review »

Thoughtful discussions and well researched.

Presenters seem keener on emphasising their own expertise than actually discussing issues in any sort of nuanced way.

Worth noting that the host is an extremely political former civil servant who writes for the bonkers conspiratorial magazine “Byline Times”. Just a glance at the stuff she writes on twitter would illustrate to the listener that she isn’t a reasonable observer or credible authority on global...Read full review »

An informative, though-provoking and (appears to be) well-researched podcast. I enjoy listening to it when I am trying to order the disorder in my flat - there’s nothing like pondering whether the mess in your kitchen is caused by lapses in the US foreign policy or global disorders 😁

Really like the breadth and depth of analysis. Only criticism is in the crass advertising - gambling adverts in particular. Normally Goal Hanger pods carefully match adverts to topic.

An incredibly engaging and incisive discussion around the divisive nature of modern politics.

Great to hear thought provoking insight from David Patrikarakos and others.

This entertaining but high-level pod doesn’t shy away from complex and difficult ideas. So many political/international relations podcasts skirt around the big issues - here we get the macro and micro picture in high definition. Pack and Patrikarakos are particularly entertaining and insightful
