The setting and story are both intriguing but it’s the characters and quality of sound design that he’d me binge this whole season. Thank you for adding this to the world, well done!

The show is seriously incredible! The subtle sound design, the incredible voice actors that take scenes to 11 all the time. And the writing! Lines like: “How you can know someone forever and not know that at all”. I am so glad I found this show, it’s a true gem!

Fun pastiche of old-timey radio serials replete with wisecracking dames, a straight-arrow detective, a snarling femme fatale, and the inevitable neighing horse on the soundtrack. Crack voice actors sound straight out of the ‘40s milieu.

This is not the genre I normally get into, but after getting recommended this podcast and giving it a listen, I was hooked. The characters were all very interesting and enjoyed following the story of Francis trying to solve this murder mystery. The interactions between Francis and the other...Read full review »

This show is amazing, from voice acting to sound design to witty dialogue to the intriguing plot of it all. I can recommend to anyone who enjoys compelling mysteries, character-driven stories, or a more modern take on the detective noir genre.

This production kept me entertained when i was sick! It’s funny and very clever with its sound effects and dialogue. At the same time it had a poignant message at the end which made it modern even though it is set in 1949. It was fast paced and fun !

I downloaded this for a flight and it was amazing. So much fun and it felt like you were actually reading it. Which is not like your normal audible book or series. The details, the characters, the story- absolutely amazing.

I'm not sure if this show is seriously funny, or funny in spite of being serious. Either way, the attention to detail in the production will put an extra smile on your face.Read full review »

“Divorce Ranch” takes the classic noir and western genres, sets them in the period we would expect, but then throws in the curveball of a modern point of view. At the heart of this missing person’s mystery is a very serious and poignant take on mid-century feminist movements, the struggle against...Read full review »

Divorce Ranch is highly polished, boasts great acting, and, most importantly, it’s a lot of fun. It’s a satisfying mystery that doesn’t take itself too seriously. I can’t wait to see where it goes!

I’m not an avid podcast listener by any stretch of the imagination, but I found myself enthralled by this highly polished production! The characters are so well fleshed-out and the story itself is greatly engrossing. The writers also learn just how much to lean into existing genre tropes while...Read full review »
