Please improve your script reading
I’ve been listening since the beginning and wanted to give the host plenty of time to improve, but it’s not happening. I believe the host writes her own scripts, but it sounds like she’s reading something aloud for the very first time. The pace of the reading is too fast and the rhythm being frequently off from natural speech patterns is jarring. I don’t mind a monotone voice, but it doesn’t flow well when you add jokes or quips to the script and then read them with the same flat inflection as the rest. I’m not looking for expert skills, I often enjoy unpolished podcasts more than the over-produced wondery-like stuff, but the rhythm and pacing issues the host has are frustrating to listen to.

Really informative, explaining new forms of DNA research and genealogy used to crack cold cases, whilst simultaneously being told in an interesting way and showing respect for the victims and their families. Now one of my favourite podcasts.

DNA
She talks way too fast. I love forensics and was excited to see this podcast but sadly it’s boring. Needs to interview others involved. Just listening to her read (way too fast) doesn’t hold my attention. Sorry
