Excellent new podcast
I really enjoy this podcast. There are so many open endings in true crime and sometimes I just want to listen to a satisfying ending with the bad guy getting caught. Genetic genealogy deserves to have a pod devoted to it when there are so many cases being solved and this one really fits the bill. The host is calm and steady without being monotonous or boring and the cases I’ve been familiar with do seem to be very well-researched. She gives the case info more like a presentation than a conversation but that’s fine by me. It’s just really excellent to know I can count on a well-explained case with a beginning, middle, and end, and that I know justice has or is being served. This pod really fills a space that has opened up with the increasing importance of genetic genealogy and I love the choice to focus on those cases alone.

I like the content but I wish the host would read the content a few times prior to recording so she can actually speak about it instead of dry read it. It’s difficult to listen to as she doesn’t get the correct rhythm at times

Hosts only reads and has zero voice inflection. Can’t listen. How can something so interesting be so boring.

Jessica is such a thorough yet clean storyteller, and it’s clear how well-researched each episode is. I’ve also never...Read full review »
