“True crime is captivating but it can obviously get depressing, especially when it’s a cold case. That’s why this podcast is so great - you know that every episode is going to end with them catching the guy! Jessica is a great story teller, and brings you through each lead that was followed to a dead end. Just when you would usually lose hope in the story and the case goes cold, that’s when she tells you how they finally caught him! I enjoy how Jessica talks you through the actual steps they took through forensic genealogy; it’s fascinating how each case is so different. Sometimes they run into difficulties with the family tree, sometimes it takes them a while to get their hands on the suspect’s DNA. Listening to the ending of how they finally track him down never disappoints.”
