My thing about this podcast....
If you’ve been around the self-help podcast space for a while, you’ve already heard ad nauseam about side hustles, gretchen rubin and the four tendencies, and the keto diet. So when starting off what’s supposed to be a big new podcast, it’s disappointing to hear the same speakers over and over again. Melissa’s no different than any other podcaster, but at this point I’m tired of having interviews where the interviewer doesn’t challenge what the person is saying. I was hoping for something new or different, and this may offer a lot to people new to self-help / podcasts, but for someone who has been listening for the past 5 years I’m finding myself skipping it.

More reviews of Do The Thing, with Whole30's Melissa Urban
Listening to Melissa and Gretchen today felt like I was chatting with 2 close friends reminding me that I’m an Obliger rebelling. Thanks and now I’m off to do some inner work so I can do the thing.

Just listened to the first episode with Gretchen Rubin and it was amazing! Relevant habit change tips based on your tendency and how you can apply that to not only a Whole30, but your life and how you interact with others. Can’t wait for more!

I’m really enjoying her podcast. Talking about mental health, addiction and the work some of us do to manage our lives is not easy to do well. She holds space for her interviewees and they share at a depth you don’t often hear on podcasts.
