Israel has been out of control for a very long time. Shame on us for spoiling this child; it’s time to quell the tantrum.

Brilliant podcast always such a high calibre. Loved the episode on the west in retreat.

Just enjoyed the Westlessness episode and am reflecting on the conversation. I particularly like the way the presenters challenge the standard views of the Western World. Great stuff and thanks. Can I also say it’s lovely to hear Gavin’s voice again!

I was nervous when the hosts changes, as that can make or break a podcast, but the quality has stayed incredibly high. A range of interesting topics are covered week-to-week, the episodes are always informative, the guests are experts and/or accomplished in their fields, and the information is...Read full review »

Terrifying, important, also terrifying. Documenting the collapse before….

Gavin Esler is superb. A professional interviewer tackling big global issues (and there are plenty of those!)

Your last episode reflects a colonial view of the world. In the time of apartheid bringing out colonial types to comment on Biko & the racists in Govt, but not a word from the ANC. It is 1970, yet faith on being Anglo Saxon overrides the views of Ukrainians et al. Times up for this rubbish!

When this show was called Doomsday Watch it was a dark-humoured and informative podcast with enlightening interviews. It was portentous that it appeared just before the invasion of Ukraine. Now it has been completely captured by the left-wing establishment. The episode called “The Truth About...Read full review »

The migration episode with Hein de Hass is the best explanation of the state of Migration that I have heard. Thank you Gavin for this amazing podcast

Gavin esler is excellent but we do Not need the silly, intrusive musical jingles irritating our ears in what purports to be a serious adult podcast.

Is this all just subscription material now? Very disappointing every podcast seems to go this way. Will be unfollowing now.

S4 E10 Guest was Christopher Steele of all characters. His former credentials are important, but so we’re the unsubstantiated garbage he peddled in the Trump Dossier. Several claims of which have either been disproven or to this day lack evidence. If this is the guy that “first comes to mind” to...Read full review »

The addition of the music to this podcast is very distracting. Please consider getting rid of it. I’ve had to shut it off twice now.

Very nicely made podcast about the war in Ukraine. A good mix of interviews and reflections by the host and guests. It’s like listening to an audio book with a beautifully built narrative throughout

I initially rated this 5 stars. But, with time, the fact that the host declines to present any credentials has undermined his authority and made me skeptical of the narrative he presents. He could be a retired gravedigger for all we know. How hard is it to provide a one paragraph bio in the show...Read full review »

Really great show - Interesting topics, thoughtfully discussed. Most of all Arthur's work is good. The new audio effect being used in this season is a really questionable creative decision. Not sure what the thinking is behind it. Couldn't get through the new episode because of it....Read full review »

Great podcast. Very insightful. The questions are thoughtful and clearly articulated. Guests bring expertise, balance and experience. Update - the sound engineering on the new series is quite poor. The echo chamber effect applied to sound clips makes them impossible to hear clearly. Other sounds...Read full review »

Think you know geo politics? Think again. Arthur sounds like you’d imagine a classic FO diploma would be, v English accent, nice chit chat over the canapés - but as season one and two reveal, he knows the details of the countries and topics he talks about better than you can read or watch on most...Read full review »

We are lucky to have somebody with the values and quality of Arthur Snell guiding us through these huge, under-appreciated, and under-reported geo-political issues. It's really opened my eyes to a lot of stressors in the world.Read full review »

The first season was amazing, the second seems a different podcast all together. It’s not bad but it’s another thing and it has lost its soul.

S3 E2 is intellectually dishonest and ignorant… wow. Try having both a liberal guest and conservative guest for a legitimate discussion.

absolutely brilliant stuff from Arthur Snell. Can’t recommend it enough. I love all of the episodes and topics but what he’s been doing around the Ukrainian war is just so insightful. The last episode with Dr Mike Martin was amazing
