“I have always loved Marlo Thomas so when I saw she had a podcast with her husband, Phil Donahue, who I had always considered to be honest and thoughtful; i had to listen.
Five Stars is a rating I don't give easily and here it is, five stars from me.
I don't often care for interviews with celebrities because it makes me feel hungry for a kind of life that isn't mine . It's hard for me to care deeply about concerns I can't relate to. The struggle of life is real to me.
The interview, double date with Viola Davis and her husband, was open and honest. She even spoke of her credit and he talked about wanting to pay off bills before they wed. I was super impressed with their candor. It was real what they spoke of, as real as my concerns are to me.”Read full review »
