“You might know comic Doug Benson from his appearances on NBC's "Last Comic Standing", his debut CD "Professional Humoredian" or from his documentary film "Super High Me" but Doug is also a huge movie buff. Not an effete cinéaste, but a fan of movies. "I Love Movies" is like a freeform basement sit-down with Doug and his friends, complete with trivia and witty banter. Doug brings together his friends and peers from the world of cutting edge standup, sketch, improv, tv and film comedy for a lively discussion of current and past movies. Oftentimes the movies take a backseat to conversations by Doug and his guests about almost anything but movies, but this is all right by me. If you're a fan of comedy or movies, or comedy about movies this is a podast you'll enjoy. Don't expect heavy analysis of the French Nouvelle Vague movement or themes of disillusionment in early Soviet cinema, just a bunch of comics having fun.”Read full review »

“I don't understand why the negative comments. The show sounds fine, and Doug is doing what he does best... riffing with a guest on stage about movies. It's a really good podcast.
