Can it get any worse than season 4?
Actually, I don't think I'll stick around to find out. The first two seasons were fantastic, third season not bad, but this one is a HUGE disappointment. First off, the "doctor" is not actually even a doctor. He's a con man whose closest thing to being a Dr. Death is that he has conned a couple of sick people out of a ton of money, and only gave them mistletoe and B-17 in exchange, which did nothing for their illnesses. Furthermore, it just drags. There's so much detail that has absolutely no relevance to the story. it actually doesn't matter that the guy took the day off because he wanted to feel like everyone else, have a few hours to himself, just enjoy Manhattan, drinking coffee in a sidewalk café, leaning back with the sun on his face, blah, blah, blah... If you've only got a 90 minute story, tell it in 90 minutes and be done with it.Read full review »

More reviews of Dr. Death
Started listening to Dr Death and this true story is truly stranger than fiction. I can’t wait to listen to the rest of the episodes. It also makes me want to think twice before blindly trusting the hospital system.

Being from Dallas, and having an appreciation for True Crime and other Documentaries- I really like this 6-part podcast. I can’t help but feel the 2-3 ad breaks in the brief episodes are overkill. That could have applied a bit more thought. Otherwise- great podcast.

Great production, intriguing and frightening story, and excellent journalism. Cannot WAIT for more episodes. A must-listen, must-share podcast.
