Tyrosine is a non essential AA made from Phenylanaline, in fact if Phenylanaline is not converted to Tyrosine results into accumulation of Phenyl ketones (neurotoxic- causes mental retardation) known as - PKU( phenylketoneurea). btw I love your podcast !!!!

I think this podcast is very interesting. Especially to me because I’m a nursing major in college which helps me a ton with learning new information. I like how it’s a nice way to learn a lot of information but is still fun so it’s entertaining at the same time.
