Love CPS but enjoy more solution examples
I love Dr. Greene's approach, and though we are only in the early stages of using CPS with our explosive child after reading the book, we can already see it's transformational potential in our family. I have one constructive criticism of the podcast - when responding to emails from parents, Dr. Greene's answer often includes 'you haven't provided enough specific information about what this child's unsolved problem is', with advice then given to continue 'drilling' for information. I understand he requires very specific information to proceed with advice, and understand his recommendation to continue drilling, however as a parent listener desperate to hear examples of how CPS is implemented I would love to hear more in his response. For instance, if Dr Greene guessed at some common more specific problems that might be settled upon after further drilling, and then suggested some types of CPS solutions parents & children might create together, specifically solutions he has heard of being implemented to good effect. This would be of huge value to struggling parents like myself.Read full review »
