From the page to the airways
The staff from the Dramas with a side of Kimchi website have moved onward and upward from simply writing about Korean dramas and K-pop to podcasting about it. As their tagline says, "Talking is a lot faster than writing." From what I've heard so far, the group gets together and records both short and long podcast episodes, depending on what they've been watching or reviewing and what is upcoming. Expect a lot of recommendations and background information about directors, casting and the Korean entertainment system. And if K-drama isn't your thing, they do branch out into reviews of Chinese, Japanese and Taiwanese dramas as well. They even attempt the odd Thai lakorn every once in a while. Check out what they have to say about Cubic, for instance. Entertaining, informal and refreshing - so glad DWASOK has decided to branch out into podcasting.Read full review »

I have been listening since 2020 and I look forward to their broadcasts. It’s like sitting in a room with friends. I usually listen in my car and catch myself agreeing or disagreeing out loud, with the occasional suggestion when they can’t think of the word they want. Keep up the good work, ladies!

The sound quality isn’t great. Also, they are gravitating more towards Chinese dramas then Korean.
