Dream of Italy/Frances Mayes interview
I was interested to listen to this after reading previous books by Mayes and visiting Italy several times to see my relatives, but was particularly pleased to learn for the first time about such gems as the Etruscan Museum. Am anxious to read about Parma in See You in the Piazza, since my family is also from Emilia Romagna, from a small village called Salsominore, with salt water and fresh water, and wonderful food in the restaurant run by my cousin's widow. It's like traveling back in time, to see my cousin hung cinghiale, and pick porcini, and I get that sense of timelessness from this interview. I love all the Dream of Italy series and this is just a continuation of what Kathy has done and continues to do so well. I will definitely be adding this to my weekly rotation of podcasts that I listen to.
