From “In The Red Clay” to “Drowning Creek”, Sean Kipe and his crew has developed another true crime series that keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Case is interesting, glad it’s getting attention for the families sake but… it’s pretty upsetting and overall just irresponsible of an “investigative journalist” to not be more conscientious of his own limited beliefs and education as it relates to intersectionality… Why would Dylan Glass lie...Read full review »

Grateful for the host getting the word out for Justin’s family. Grateful for the time the host took to share the details that maybe someone listening can further assist on. Grateful to all the people that helped the host as much as they felt they could. I pray to God all these cold cases find...Read full review »

This podcast was so well presented and woven together! I couldn’t stop listening. It was so compelling and intriguing. Thank you for getting the word out about Justin and for trying to help his family and thank you to all the others who are trying to help, as well.

The way the host makes the most obvious statements yet acts as if they are profound while the dramatic music plays was just way too soap opera-y to me. This case could’ve been cut in half if all the meaningless filler was removed.

Very well done! Excellent podcast. Thank you!

To me, the killers are obvious and that’s so frustrating. The podcast is extremely well done and well researched and I highly recommend it!

Overall, the storytelling is decent, but the opinions of the host are…interesting. I understand questioning when a suspect takes back their confession, but this was a little much. Do I think Dylan Glass is a liar? Kinda. But I’ve heard enough TC stories about false confessions, especially...Read full review »

Always enjoy his podcasts. Thoughtfully and sensitively handled.

This is 9 episodes that could have been one. All the pointless rabbit holes every time some half-thought idea is mentioned. If the folks mentioned in it weren’t all so poor, they’d be suing for libel. At the base is an interesting story, but the self righteous behavior of the host as if he’s...Read full review »

Soooo good!! I listen to a lot of podcasts and this was right up there with some of my favorites.

I thought this series to be filled with twists and turns. I don’t want to give anything away but I was convinced of one idea at the beginning and by the last episode I wasn’t so sure of anything anymore. Truly, masterful investigation work here with a lot to be considered before throwing in one’s...Read full review »

If the podcast is done by Sean Kipe, listen to it. This is another fabulous collection by Mr. Kipe that takes you to place & people you’d never meet. I pray for the family to receive justice & hope the people involved will want to unload the burden of this senseless crime.

I quite enjoyed it! Sad it’s over, listened over two days.

Sean is of the highest class of investigative journalists, bravo on this podcast. But I never figured out why it’s called “Drowning Creek”?Usually during a podcast, they drop the name of it somewhere in the story & you understand the meaning of the title. “Like in Status: Untraced,” he...Read full review »

I have never felt more compelled to research a case or be subscribed to updates to follow a case like I have this one. This case NEEDS to be solved. I want to drop everything in my life and start searching for all the answers. I really hope the FBI does what state and local government could not/...Read full review »

Liked how it was written and storyboarded. Didn’t overuse interview audio unless it made sense. To an extent at least, I agree with the self congratulatory tone. That was my only negative takeaway here. And I will also say, this is a true story. You can’t predict how it will end when you are...Read full review »

Lots of rumors even more filler
Dogwood 1 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/11/24
Gave up after episode 4. Confusing and unorganized with rumors and it feels like it’s going in circles. Read a few other reviews and basically confirmed that I should not waste my time finishing this one.
T-Rich37 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/11/24
Excellent storytelling, and integrity of the investigation is the most important thing to his process. Looking forward to his next one.
Ssaff91 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/10/24
Finished and I feel like I know less than I did after the first episode. Every episode ends in a cliffhanger with no payoff, and now the season just did the same thing. Don’t waste your time.

I had to stop this one several times because my eyes got tired from rolling. The host uses overly dramatic music and is just not a talented investigative reporter or storyteller. It just comes across as juvenile and self-promoting. The story is repetitive and strung together so haphazardly that I...Read full review »

It was interesting at the start, but as the series go on, there is more and more “he said she said” that just bogged the whole story down. Ultimately, I stopped caring. Plus, the podcast are spends way too much time congratulating himself.
StorytellerGal via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/30/24
I listen to a lot of true crime podcasts. Totally agree with other listeners who call this one repetitive. Constantly presenting rumors, detective's "feelings" on body language, and repeating the same "facts" over and over again got old so quickly. Not sure how there are so...Read full review »

Sean gives the best delivery of the information out of any of the true crime podcasts I listen to! He really knows how to keep you interested and you will hate having to wait for the next episode to drop!

Sean Kipe and his team are uniquely gifted in laying a case out comprehensively and with the level of care and respect it deserves. Love evening he does and always looking forward to the next!

You should make a lot more I’ve listened to others and they just don’t grab your attention like yours do
JohnB9198 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/24/24
I’m so sick of podcasts being made that don’t have a resolution…and I’m very confused why this one has such high ratings because it wasn’t very interesting and it was repetitive. Feeling like I’ve wasted a lot of time listening tbh. 🫢
Manders501 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/23/24
This podcast is just repeating a bunch of rumors. I keep zoning out because I don’t believe anything anyone is saying. I feel sorry for Mom and the family but this is just not a compelling podcast and it’s not going to end with anything new.
mrgkay via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/23/24
Ugh
In a world where missing persons cases tend to be filled with twists, turns, and wild unknowns, this is one where all roads lead back to the same names, same places, and same story. It’s a devastating situation for the victim’s family and I hope this podcast leads to definitive answers, justice,...Read full review »

Interesting enough for me to listen to all the episodes but lots of unnecessary repetition. Hearing the actual police interviews kept me coming back. End is - meh.

What a great beginning to what we hope will turn up evidence to solve this. I know there is more to come. Thank you for your dedication for the truth. Listeners need to realize that some cases take time. The chase has begun!!!!

I agree with most others - this podcast started out quite interesting, but the same three people are interviewed over and over again in subsequent episodes; sometimes their story changes, but who knows for sure - the quality of the recordings is so poor, they’re difficult to understand.
