“I really wanted to like this podcast (I love female-led podcasts, true crime podcasts and comedy podcasts, so this seemed ideal) but I've now listened to four episodes and probably won't continue. In each episode, the opening section and the end section are a lot more entertaining than the middle section, where one of the hosts tells a true crime story while the other hosts and guest listen and try to guess details, e.g. whether the victim was male or female. If you're into true crime, like I am, you will likely find the middle section pretty tiresome. The last straw for me was the hosts having never heard of Lizzie Borden. I knew about Lizzie Borden before I was even interested in true crime! There are references to Lizzie Borden in The Simpsons because it is such a famous case! I'm actually a bit confused as to why the hosts decided to start a true crime podcast when they seem to have no prior interest in true crime.”Read full review »
