Brilliant, Humorous and Resourceful
We will all experience something in our lives at some point that will require someone who has put a lot of thought into a situation. We, the laymen and women, are the first line of defense and it's important to understand how these emergency management systems work. It's much easier to be a team player if you know the rules of the game. While I work in what might seem to be a completely unrelated field I am responsible the well being and safety of mass amounts of unsuspecting people. They don't even know what I have done for them to ensure their safety. For me to get better at my job I have been studying Emergency Mgmt has somewhat of a cause and effect sequence. If I do my job correctly, emergency management should never come into existence. However accidents happen in my field and while they don't happen on the local, regional, national or international scale as broken down in the podcast- the lessons taught can be equally applied.
