Refreshingly smart, warm, and out of the mainstream
If you have liberal, anti-corporate sensibilities, listening to The Lavender Hour can feel like spending quality time in the company of really intelligent, thoughtful, hilarious people. Some people are no doubt put off by the show because its production quality is low, their conversation has a meandering and casual vibe, and Natasha's laugh is always car-swervingly loud and shrill. But few things make me laugh as hard as the random riffs between Duncan and Natasha, and the LH's lo-fi, off-the-cuff vibe is part of what makes it so endearing and authentic. i found out about duncan trussell through the joe rogan podcast. he's so weird but in a good way. wish they had more updates though. the audio is too quiet too. anyway, keep up the good work. i love the cheezy guitar riff too.Read full review »
