Two Heads are Better Then One
This podcast is by far the best DnD podcast that I have yet come across. I have tried listening to others and the majority of them seem to be a group of people playing DnD. Which is a great thing in its own right. However, Chris and Mitch take that a step further and help you to imagine your own world and create your own adventures, all while being funny, entertaining, and extremely informative in an organized fashion (no small feat). Not to mention they have voices that (in my opinion) are great for radio. I only discovered this podcast about 2 weeks ago and have already listened to 3/4 of the available episodes. However, all of the episodes have replay ability and can offer more guidance as you progress in the creation of your story. I myself have drawn a lot of inspiration from things they have discussed especially in regards of ways to make NPC's stand out. My only regret is that they did not start episode 1 by telling me to take notes(I use OneNote now(similar to Evernote) (A word for new DM's) I have been playing DnD for about 8 years off and on and had recently decided to take the plunge and become a DM but was a bit unsure of where to start or where I wanted to go with my ideas. If this sounds anything like you then why are you reading my poorly written review and not listening to the best podcast you are like to ever come across? Anyway, sorry if this review seems a bit long but a short review would not do these two great DM's justice. Just the ramblings of an Insightful Hedgehog #mannurismsRead full review »
