I subscribe to just about every RPG podcast on iTunes, and D&R has rapidly become my favourite of the lot. Some podcast campaigns around have an extremely intense, grandiose story, and some aim for hilarity to the point of ridiculousness, but D&R strikes a fantastic balance somewhere in the middle, between engaging storytelling and mechanical gameplay; between real character development and entertaining player banter. Also, the sheer reverence the players in this campaign (particularly Jason the DM) have for the story they're creating and their humility in its growing popularity makes even a passive listener feel like a truly valued part of the overall experience.Read full review »
