Rob Johnson is a very thoughtful and insightful podcast host . His guests are diverse in background, and the discussions between Rob and his guests are unfailingly thought provoking and enlightening.

March 29th, this is the second time I’ve listened to this, because the first time was last week when I was being evicted. I could not give it the time it deserved. This podcast is my life. Thank you for all your compassionate, thoughtful information. Your a life raft in my rapidly declining life❣️

Great content, but please please change your intro music. It’s so corny and out of place. Get some low-key instrumental synth wave as intro music. Take a nod from NPR.

But will Rob PLEASE get out of the way! I want to hear the guest! Short questions please Rob. At the moment, too long winded, repetitive and simplistic when the guest should have the floor Thanks. Annie

I get a surprise every time I listen to an interview. Such deep and daring thinkers and Rob Johnson is a great host, making wonderful connections from economics to humanity, to art and music.

Rob Johnson and his guests are very informed and knowledgeable and present thought provoking and mind expanding points of view from their real life experiences. After the host’s introduction, the guest starts talking about the Chinese economy while the host on the background puts his bowl on the table, puts the spoon in the bowl, grabs the cereal box, pulls the plastic bag out, pours the cereal into to the bowl, after the liquid’s added, starts eating!...Read full review »

The Chris Hedges interview was outstanding.

The host either doesn’t care or doesn’t know that the noise from activities in the background are being recorded. Clicks and chimes from his unsilenced iPhone, rustling papers, crinkling plastic wrappers, and running water are just a few background noises that take an otherwise great podcast...Read full review »

The lack of respect for the guests is a bit shocking. The host leaves his mic on and while they speak he sighs heavily, rearranges papers and objects on his desk so loud they drown out the speaker, etc etc. Have the decency to mute your mic or at least edit that stuff out later. It sounds like a...Read full review »

I’m having a hard time making sense of this podcast, its host and the general tenor of the discussions. This is less New than Eclectic. Since 2008 it was clear that the sort of economics that was taught and practised was dangerously off but the response should have been to look for original...Read full review »

This podcast speaks to the heart. Very compelling guests, and an inspiring host. Perfect way to face the gravity of our societal challenges without losing faith.

Obviously the whole world is being reconsidered in light of the pandemic. Right now the most valuable voices are those of people who ALREADY saw that the system had huge holes and cracks, and Mr Johnson is clearly one of those. These first few episodes have also been super fun to listen to, and...Read full review »

You’re so bias that you taint statistics to prove your side of the matter. Wouldn’t recommend this podcast.
