Outstanding once again from the team
I love the podcasts that are fronted by Chris. I know he is at pains to say it is a team effort and of course it is. But his presenting style is so natural and his eager interest in the subject matter came through in this series even more than ever before. Having been a student during the period in question and of course aware of the craze sweeping the country at the time it was fascinating to hear so much more about what was really going on. Both “real life” and dramatised participants were utterly convincing. Bonus soundtrack on the last episode was just the icing on the cake. Bravo. This is going to be a hard act to follow.

More reviews of Ecstasy: The Battle Of Rave
Good info and interviews, especially having consumed lots of info about this era (I’m about ten years too young to have experienced it myself). Must admit, the drama episodes did nothing for me.

I missed the rave scene as I was working but I feel like I missed out. Great pod cast great balance and showed off the good and the bad side. Really enjoyable listen

This was a thoroughly well researched podcast which tapped in to the good and bad aspects of the rave scene during the late 80’s early 90’s, keep up the good work BBC would like to hear one about the 90’s britpop explosion which followed - oasis blur etc
