“I have been listening to this to prepare for an already planned trip to Egypt. I find it very helpful. I wish I had listened to it before planning our trip, although luckily our tour is going to all the places he highlights.
You can pick and choose: for instance, we are not going to the Red Sea so I didn't spend much time on that one.
My only complaint is that he only focuses on the ancient Egyptian sites. I wish he offered more (or an additional podcast) on some of the other things: e.g Coptic Cairo sites (one of our interests), mosques worth visiting, the desert monastaries outside Cairo, etc.
