“Note: EE celebrates and supports LBGTQ+. ~~ Electric Easy, billed as a musical, I almost gave a pass. Musicals must be performed on stage WITH dancing, not on a podcast. After a listen, I heard not one character breakout in song mid-conversation. So that blew up my bias. ~~~ The music supports the story well, creating a dreamy, immersive ambiance -- like Blade Runner and Rent entwined ~~ Supporting characters have life and purpose. They are not secondary thoughts but contributions and enrichments to the story. Did I mention the AI cats? “The show is worth a listen just for the audio mixing / production. It’s really good, and sets a high, intimidating bar for storytelling.
