“I started listening to the EWS in 2020 during Covid and it quickly grew into the highlight of my podcasting week. Episodes often take 10 minutes (or more) to get to the topic at hand, and after that quickly spiral into digressions to digressions, personal anecdotes involving teeth and aquariums, and deep cuts into bizarre podcast lore. Yet somehow this all comes together into a tremendously entertaining hour that captures much of what I love about gaming as a hobby. It’s a wonderful break from normal gamer culture.
The older episodes are good too but the current crew of Alice, Matthew, and Nate make this podcast truly exceptional. Thank you!”
