Description
Tomorrow’s exceptional episode features world-famous American electronic music producer and DJ, Matthew Dear. Born in Texas, Matthew moved to Detroit as he fell in love with the Techno scene. He is particularly known for his albums Leave Luck to Heaven, Black City, and Beams. He also performs under aliases such as Audion, False, and Jabberjaw, and has collaborated with artists like Simian Mobile Disco and Tegan and Sara. He was founding artist on the Ghostly International label. Matthew’s most famous track is ‘Put Your Hands Up For Detroit’, remixed many times, and his albums  (including my favourite ’Black City’ have always been in great demand, right up to the current day. We had such a great interview, that I’ve decided to split our chat into two episodes – part 2 will be available in two days time on Sunday. Ladies and gentlemen, put your hands up for the amazing Matthew Dear... If you can, please support the Electronically Yours podcast via my Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/electronicallyours
