Mixed, some great interviews, some not so good.
The host is very likeable on the whole, and when he’s on form quite amusing. But there are some really cringey David Brent style moments when he tells guests they can swear, then actively try’s to encourage them. Definitely wants to be seen as hip and outrageous at times, shame, because it’s very contrived like the luvies on the Graham Norton show trying to be cool, by swearing. The Kim Wilde episode is very good.

More reviews of Electronically Yours with Martyn Ware
I came for Roisin Murphy, and although ordinarily I’d listen to Roisin boil a kettle, I switched off in the first five minutes. In those minutes Martyn mentioned that she was “still good looking”, a strong Irish woman “which is my bag” and mispronounced both her name and Moloko.

Listened to maybe 15 of these . I love the style and casualness of the interview . Also really enjoy all the accents and the mix of people he interviews . Found some people that I wouldn’t be interested in musically to be a great listen .
