Always worth listening to
This is the show that got me listening to podcasts. A fellow grad school student suggested I check out the episodes on Heidegger while we were both taking a seminar on him. Those episodes are pure gold, but I always find that when I think I'll be least interested in the subject of the episode, I end up fascinated. This is an excellent series of conversations. The guests are often outspoken and innovative, the philosophy at the "front end" can be excessivly fuzzy and the mix makes for a thinking person's program. Fascinating, enlightening... and irritating.Read full review »

A thought provoking, erudite journey through the annals of classical literature, art, music and philosophy. Professor Harrison’s sprawling knowledge will impress, even as the topics and discussions remain generally accessible and entertaining. Not to be missed.
