Timely Word
It’s November 2021 and I just finished hosting an intimate spiritual retreat for women. I tend to feel like I limp over the finish line, but this year, due to a long season of illness, I was limping before I even got to the starting line. In listening to the last episode from December 2020, God was faithful to meet me right where I am. I ended the retreat realizing the betrayal of a longtime friend last year has been robbing me of joy and causing me to guard my heart against the Father in fear, rather than with Him in faith. This episode challenged my perspective, causing me to reframe that sense of loss with gratitude for those who have stayed. And the reminder that I’m did the best I could under several difficult circumstances, pressing on and pouring myself out anyway. Such a timely word (on God’s timetable for my life). Thank you Kelly!

This podcast is so helpful to those who are in the midst of pain and want to believe God is good, but aren’t seeing that goodness reflected in their own life. Kelly speaks with power and knowing. I’m grateful for a story told “in the middle”.

Kelly’s words are saturated with truth, humbleness and gentle care for how to live an “Even if” life. Listen for encouragement, Gospel centered truth and an invitation for the only hope worth having.

Our stories are so very similar, we also lost our baby girl at 41 weeks in 2019 and this podcast has been the most helpful and inspiring... teaching me to lean into the storm with God on my side and to continue forward , everyday one day closer to eternity
