“Ross is no gambling expert, but he’s an excellent host and is great to follow along as he learns the game. I appreciate the more quantitative approach to wagering and, as a fantasy football player, there’s no better people to listen to than the ones setting and following the odds. In the game within a game, Even Money is where I go all “meta” on my fellow fantasy fans and give them some real insight.
This podcast is also part of the Ross Tucker/RT Media network. RT Media has you covered on all aspects of your football addiction. From insider analysis, fantasy football advice, college draft prospects or the sharp's run down on all the action, RT Media covers it all. Ross, his producer and co-hosts are building their own media brand that isn't beholden to any corporate overlords. Ross will always tell you like it is and even though he can sometimes get a little silly, it is all honest.
Like any other popular podcast, there are sponsors, but Ross does a good job on picking relevant and useful promotions and readily admits when he misses the mark. I recall an old sponsor from a year ago that got a lot of negative feedback and Ross addresses it, bumped the read to the end to finish out the contact and never brought it back. That's the best part about the network of podcasts; when you tweet or write in, you'll actually be heard. I once wrote in with a suggestion and heard it realized on the show. “Prior to last season I never bet on football. However, aimed with the knowledge dropped on this show I have dipped my toes in the water with some success. Whether you are a vet or beginner you can find excellent info in this podcast.”
