“Very very casual, honest, and engaging leftie current events podcasts. Cody and Katy are far from detached, but also don't yell or act excessively outraged in a way that makes this tiring to listen to. They tell you important (mainly US domestic) news of the week and connect it to larger problems. They both contribute to the comedy news YouTube series, Some More News, which is the more heavily organized and scripted counterpart. Because this is a looser format, you won't see as many facts and statistics popping up with their corresponding reference, but rather an opinionated discussion that assumes the listener probably knows the important stuff. It's awesome and you should listen. If I had one complaint it would be that they occasionally stumble awkwardly over parts that seem less rehearsed, but overall it's genuine and smart.”Read full review »
