I wanted to like it and listened to about 10 episodes. Jamie really kills this podcast. Give her the boot, you don’t need her social media following to be popular.

As a socialist with communist/marxist sympathies, I have really enjoyed this pod, and what Jamie, and Aaron have been saying. Breaking down communism, Marxism, and socialism down one by one episode by episode. It’s also both very entertaining, informative, and certainly not dry. Another great...Read full review »

just listened to the episode reviewing the bbc psyop doc, traumazone, by wishy washy anarchist stooge adam curtis. it was aggressively dumb but this is what i’ve come to expect by dsa members

Let a "communist" podcast host get enough attention and they'll start repeating anti-communist garbage if they think they can get more engagement. Jamie doesn't have "humility" about her politics so much as no real grounding to begin with. How do you host a podcast where...Read full review »

Did you guys not watch the Russell Brand interview before you did this Vampire Castle ep? The whole thrust of the interview is that he says voting is pointless and talks about how he became rich. Seems like an obvious prerequisite. Also how are you going to praise Sanders and Corbyn in the same...Read full review »

Sometimes I forget to listen and am always pleasantly surprised by how clear and enjoyable the hosts and guests are. Have learned a lot and don’t feel drained by the experience. A relaxing education-bravo!

If communism was so good, the communist states wouldn’t have collapsed multiple times. Too bad people have forgotten that the US is NOT a democracy, but a republic. And too many ignorant people, such as those I’ve heard on a show, have created an oligarchy like there is in so many other countries...Read full review »

What a terrible show. Nobody loves communism I hate communism so much that I have a sticker with Stalin on it that says "Joseph Stylin" ironically of course. I mean who doesn't think Stalin is Stylin? Really though this is a great show that brings a casuallness to reading of texts...Read full review »

Really appreciate that this podcast represents views of multiple tendencies within communism and the salient analysis provided while avoiding the pitfalls of “left unity” which can result in working at cross purposes. Looking forward to seeing which text they cover next.

Communism is the same league as Fascism. The only difference is that one spoke German and the other speaks Russian. This program is an insult to human intelligence. You guys should read “The Black Book of Communism”, maybe do a review on it. Communism is nothing more than enslavement of human...Read full review »

As a recovering former-lib who loves Jamie and who is sorely lacking in theory, I was tremendously excited for this podcast—only to be forced to quit halfway through my first listen by extensive, viscerally repellant eating sounds. Why??? It is the fastest way to render a podcast unlistenable,...Read full review »

Outstanding show. I’m hooked since the first episode. Hosts downplay their smarts but don’t be fooled. They are very intelligent along with being humorous. Simply the best.

Yay! Jamie post-MR escape & Aaron (who is also great on the Trillbillies) exercise their serious intellectual chops - but with refreshing humor.

I didn’t think anyone loved else loved communism. But they do. And I do, too. So five stars. Wow.
