“I really like Robin Roberts and her folksy interview style, but her podcasts are too polished for me. The reason I love podcasts is because they are very organic. However, during these podcasts, Robin is CONSTANTLY interrupting the interview with voice-overs, explanations, and editorial comments about the guest. It's terribly annoying and ends up being more like a school lesson than a radio show. I think Robin is so used to everything being tight and polished on GMA, she doesn't know how to just let go and have an organic conversation. Because of that, the fish bowl questions are my favorite segment! It's the realest and most unscripted part of podcast. Also, why are lengths of Robin's podcasts so different? Some are 30 minutes, some are 90 minutes, etc. So weird! As a listener, I'm making both a time and emotional investment. Don't cut me short. Lastly, why season 1? Again, this isn't TV. Talk radio doesn't have seasons. 😕”Read full review »
