I really enjoy listening to this show, however I really wish the podcast host would speak less and allow her guest to speak more. I feel sometimes there might as well not be a guest, as the host takes over most of the podcast on most episodes and this is frustrating.

Calling this podcast inflammatory is hilarious. I love how the bots hate anything that isn’t coming out of their dear leader’s or Hannity’s mouth. Q Supporters give it one star because they’re uncomfortable with the truth. I found this podcast relaxing, insightful and reassuring. It’s meant...Read full review »

I have been listening to this podcast for over a month now and I am hooked. Wendy is so authentic and makes for really easy listening. I am new to Buddhism and appreciate the straightforward narrative and less frills. In other times when I had tried to begin my journey I had often felt I wasn’t...Read full review »

Very special, down to earth and compassionate. I love how Wendy integrates her personal story and personal stories with an opening up of the Dharma… in a way that moves beyond “secular” to real magic.

I really enjoyed some of these episodes. But the political comments and the ignorance of the bias and inflammatory nature of some of these comments and their contradiction to the purpose of the podcast is unbearable. Just stop with the politics. It’s that easy.

Wendy shinyo haylett has to be one of my favourite podcasts hosts out there. Being down to earth and knowing her stuff she takes us on a journey through buddhism and lets us know the secrets of engaging with the teachings on a day to day level. I enjoy much of what she has to teach, but about once an episode I flinch as she barely masks her distaste of conservative politics. Can conservatives follow Buddhist principles? It doesn’t feel like it to me. I do not feel welcome.

Is your own Maya, as is your presumable liking to Clinton. Trump, Obama, Clinton, and Bush are all war mongers. Buddhism is not a refuge against Trump just like it is not a refuge against Clinton. May I humbly suggest you haven’t been seeing things clearly.

Thoughtful podcast on current issues. I really enjoy All episodes. My only perspective criticism is the interviews feel uncomfortable at times. I can’t pin down why but if I took a stab at it, I would say to allow the guest to talk more.
