“Hi Gary. I've been a listener for 3 years. Though it's been frustrating that you never cover queer topics, I have enjoyed the show quite a lot. But your compound interest episode really struck a nerve. Even if it was intended as a joke, your comment about children being seen and heard was wildly offensive and inappropriate. Think about when you were a kid. How did you feel when adults treated you like a second class citizen. I bet you didn't like it. Also, you claim to encourage learning and curiosity for people of all ages and say you love to hear that children are listening to the show. Well, think about how all those children feel now. You just told them to shut up. How you claim to want those children to be curious and learn if they are not allowed to speak up and ask questions. This was a truly disgusting comment.
