Top-notch NUFC podcast
Really good NUFC podcast - explains the workings behind the stories the Ronnie Gill (as it was known in my day) publish about the club. Mark Douglas is a very knowledgeable and eloquent guest, while Andrew Muzgrove (I think he may be new or maybe specifically does the podcasts?) is excellent and keeping it all together. Really enjoyable for us fans across the globe!! It allows the writers to be more in depth, detailed and gives a glimpse behind the scenes. Drawbacks? That Lee Ryder chap really is as thick as his writing makes him seem. His style really clashes with any other guest I've heard on the podcast. He seems arrogant and defensive, cutting across people to point out "as I reported last week." I don't care who reports it, as long as I know what's going on with the mighty magpies! Cut out the cliches, use your apparent links with the club to help the Chron's other writers (eg the excellent Chris Waugh) to get better stories, rather than going anywhere near a keyboard yourself. But otherwise, I'm really enjoying the podcast - keep it up gents! Fingers crossed for the new season... Ted (Formerly of Elswick, Now residing in Indianapolis)Read full review »

As an American NUFC fan, this is essential listening as I try to keep up with my team. It’s not the most entertaining podcast and contributors sometimes are too busy defending journalists, but I listen religiously as it’s the only stop for news.
