“I've been following Lacy for awhile now and have really loved a lot of the stuff she has talked about in her blog and in her workshops. This podcast however stopped me dead in my tracks. Lacy's inability to own up to her own social ignorance and white privilege is kind of astounding in the year 2018. Her denial of intersectional social issues that affect people all over the world combined with her constant promotion of up-scale expensive lifestyle brands and clothing says that she is not a true guru or teacher of any kind, she is just another white women profiting off of women who are actually seeking spiritual leadership. I can't even recount how many problematic statements were made by Lacy and her group of privilaged guests. At first I wrote off some of the statements as accidental, ignorant at worst, but as I continued listening I became completely distraught over her tone and language.
