Ash and John are so full of knowledge and they play off each other so well. John will go on random nerd tangents and Ash will let you know the best time to see what he’s talking about and she’ll let you know what you can probably skip. It’s great. The fun facts episodes are often my favorites...Read full review »

I found this podcast last summer when looking for episodes about Grand Teton and because of the two Teton episodes we did things we wouldn’t have known to do (paddle board hike and then also this nacho tower food as two examples). We live near a National park and I even love those episodes...Read full review »

I absolutely can not get enough of listening to the Ash and John talk about National Parks! From fun facts to how to explore the parks, they are so much fun.

Unfortunately the cringey host couple lacks the awareness to see that their personal anecdotes are not as interesting or funny as they seem to think. They don’t come across as park aficionados, but more so elementary level park goers. I know it’s harsh but not everyone needs a podcast.

I listen to a lot of podcasts. This is the one that leaves me feeling most happy, like I’m at a roadside diner, sitting across from Ash & John as they tell me about parks. Useful ideas, interesting background info, and fun stories, even though I haven’t read or watched the Rings.

I recently visited Everglades and Dry Tortugas after listening to your episodes about them! Your tips were great and allowed me to try some things around the parks that I hadn’t before, like Robert is Here. Super thankful that I listened to you guys and considered some new experiences before going!
