I loved this show and the incredible stories that were told. Will there be any more series produced???

Why are people saying that the host is annoying to listen to? Btw isn’t podcast app is on your device when you buy it I haven’t had to pay for an episode 🫠

And interesting while being educational.

Mama Mia has delivered yet another fantastic podcast. I can’t stop listening!

The quality of this show is beyond words - Emma is a fantastic host and gives such a great in depth exploration of these stories that goes beyond the news headlines. Love it.

So tired of all these new subscription podcast!!!!

I really enjoyed learning about topics I hadn’t realised I was interested in until I listened to this podcast. I like the way the host tells the stories. I really enjoyed the Magazine Queens and The Kennedy Women as these were topics I hadn’t known much about before. Interested to see what topics...Read full review »

Love love love this pod, haven’t heard anything like it before. Always riveting.

Want to hear about Belle Gibson but find the host slightly annoying to listen to. Hard to describe/put my finger on it. Bit too saccharine & imagine her giving knowing looks & smiles to the microphone whilst reading. I want to listen to the story and become absorbed in it (the way I would...Read full review »

Loved watching Paper giants and thoroughly enjoyed the first series

Emma’s voice is very soothing to my ears! Congratulations Emma and team on producing an engaging and digestible show that has quickly become a ritual on my trip to and from work! Can tell a lot of research and finesse goes into preparing and executing each episode! I look forward to tuning into...Read full review »

Love Mamamia content and podcasts, however I’m really disappointed that they are asking for payment – particularly because other podcasts of similar effect are completely free.

To be continued… behind a paywall, don’t think so

i get it costs $ to produce and it’s work to make content but r u really making stories that are well known and not providing any new details cost $ ...

These women are making a phenomenal podcast, keep up the great work!!

I agree. This particular Mamamia Podcast not original and not particularly well done. Sorry 😟

Love Mamamia Outloud and other podcasts from Mamamia but this one is hit and miss which is unfortunate given I’ve paid for a yearly subscription. Charlotte Dawson was original and emotional. Magazine Queens was also well done. However the rest have been unoriginal because they’ve been covered to...Read full review »

I always enjoy Mamamia content, and these podcasts have been enjoyable, however, I happen to listen to some other podcasts that have covered the same stories and events - and they are free. I think if you are going to put content out that us dedicated listeners have to pay for then it needs to be...Read full review »

Absolutely obsessed with these episodes and seasons. Topic content that I wouldn’t usually seek out that gets discussed in a way that is engaging and I feel a bit like I’m getting the inside scoop on a story. I didn’t realise how much the media has influenced and at times distorted peoples...Read full review »

A brilliant and well researched show. I especially loved the episodes on Charlotte Dawson and the Kennedy family. Such a great poddie!
laurajackel via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 08/13/21
Engaging however not well researched enough to pay for unfortunately. If I wanted to delve deeper into these stories I would be better off doing a basic Google search or looking the story up on YouTube which is a lot more cost effective!

Podcasts are meant to be for free!!! So so disappointing!
lucyW000 via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 08/07/21
Pretty disappointing that you put the first episode up for free (which had hardly any of the story) and then hide the rest of it behind a paywall. Not well researched or well produced enough for me to pay a subscription fee
TeegzzzA via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 08/07/21
Not well researched enough to try and charge $5.75 a month for. I would rather support smaller shows via Patreon.
Australian chick via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 07/29/21
Pretty disappointing that I have to pay a subscription to be able to listen to these. I’m a local MM listener with every other pod so it’s disappointing that I have to pay for these episodes. Especially in the current climate and not working. Maybe you should do something for your listeners here.
Spreets via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 07/23/21
Understand the retrospect for Charlotte and her struggles. Related it to. Then you have to pay for further episodes? Well done Mia.
PaulaPrincess via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 07/23/21
So well presented and researched
Geofie via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 07/23/21
So bemused about paying …not many other platforms charging especially in these tough times
cheerpy via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 07/20/21
So so annoying that it is not clear that this is actually a paid subscription podcast and these are just teaser episodes. Just keep your paid podcasts on your subscription app mamamia, it’s extremely irritating to have these drop into my feed but never be able to hear the ending.
IronMaven80 via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 07/15/21
Wow, I’ve been a loyal listener to Mamamia but before wasting people’s time perhaps preface the episode with your cash grab scheme 🙄🙄🙄 Absolutely pathetic! Also stop trying to boost your rating by getting staff to review and give 5 stars it’s tacky and deceitful!!! 😤😤😤 I highly recommend you keep...Read full review »

What I have heard is good, but would rather pay to hear more of this podcast alone than paying to subscribe to all MPlus.
shan_k via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 06/14/21
Really enjoyed the episodes I’ve heard so far. The podcast game is changing and good on MM for getting ahead. I’ll be subscribing!
JeaneneAU via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 06/12/21
Nothing extraordinary given the number of high quality podcasts available for free.
Loveserenade via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 06/09/21
Interesting stories and not sure what the fuss is about with them trying a subscription offering? Good on you Mamamia for continuing to try different things and create different pods. Like previous review - it’s early days with this one and I’m sticking with you!
MickeyJ112 via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 06/08/21
Obsessed with this pod and Emma’s voice. I’ve joined MPlus to hear more. Can’t wait.
queencorgi55 via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 06/08/21
I absolutely love this show. The craftsmanship that goes into making something like this is incredible - well done! Im so thankful I was able to get a taste of this show and I think it’s absolutely worth paying for the rest of the episodes. Thank you!
SamMcDonald2310 via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 06/08/21
Such a brilliant series and so well executed. Thoroughly enjoyed listening.

Felt like I knew the jackie story well but clearly there’s so much more than the iconic fashion and public tragedy. Love these deep dives

Okay the final ep of the Belle Gibson series made me GASP out loud. I never saw that coming. The sound design is incredible too - so easy to be immersed.

I think a number of other people have very eloquently said what I also think ... NOT cool!
Antigone Smithson via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 06/06/21
Don’t bother! You get one or two free episodes then they tell you to pay a membership and join their exclusive “club” for the rest of the story. Just another rip off job! So much for women helping women!
PippaSC via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 06/04/21
Really annoying that you need to pay. I don’t have a lot of money, so I’d rather put my money to food than paying for a pod cast.
kvdhjoufser via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 06/03/21
listened to the first ep only to get to the end and find out you have to be mplus member to hear 2 & 3.
Lilo Lou via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 06/02/21
Disappointed that eps are only available if you pay for the Mplus subscription. Many of us aren’t in a financial position to be able to do this. Makes me wonder if the rest of Mamamia content is heading the same way. Thought you guys were better than this money grab.
Swannies21 via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 06/02/21
Disappointed at the monetisation of the podcast, podcasts are a free media platform to share information and educate those from all over the world! Furthermore, this is part of a mainstream media empire and is also funded by in-podcast advertising... How much more money do you want?
