I didn't even finish the YouTube video trailer before I found and subscribed to this. I spend a lot of idle time on Google Earth and Google Maps looking at distant isles and wondering what the lives of people are there and what motivates them to keep living there. Coincidentally Pitcairn is in my neck of the woods, as I live in Fiji. We do understand from our own experiences of living in our own islands what remoteness means and costs us. And I suspect we share some of the same rationale to ourselves of why we continue to do so; it's about finding a home for your soul and spirit and once those two things settle, you don't have a choice.
