“I had got behind with my listening to this podcast and was completely overwhelmed by the Anthony Ray Hinton episode. My husband found me with tears streaming down my face so I just replayed it by way of explanation. There are so many emotions to describe Ray’s story of injustice and racial prejudice. There is a unbelievably horrific and chilling realisation that those on death row are blatantly and cruelly exposed to the executions of their fellow prisoners in a way that is almost beyond belief. It was all told so simply and calmly, with humour and love. We bought the book on the strength of this episode and were not disappointed. Well done Emma for allowing Ray just to tell his story .”
