I’m so glad I discovered this podcast! Such interesting stories from some brave, inspirational people. My favourite episodes are Anthony Ray Hinton (I would recommend his book) and the Incredible Denise Fergus. Interviews are done in an easy to listen to and sensitive manner.

I stumbled upon this pod and instantly enjoyed it. Wonderful, succinct, storytelling. While short, the episodes feel personal. So we’ll done! I’m dismayed that there haven’t been new episodes in over a year. Is it over? On a pandemic pause? There is good stuff here. I hope more episodes are made!

My son advised me to listen to Eye of the storm and I have listened to many and cried many tears. Helps you to reflect on your own life and be thankful for what you have when others have suffered such loss. Thank you for creating a platform for reflection.

I had got behind with my listening to this podcast and was completely overwhelmed by the Anthony Ray Hinton episode. My husband found me with tears streaming down my face so I just replayed it by way of explanation. There are so many emotions to describe Ray’s story of injustice and racial...Read full review »

This is a brilliant podcast. Filled with real insights that reach beyond the headlines and touch your soul. Emma is a star that deftly reaches the humanity of what often are horrendous moments. This podcast of Eye of the storm is in a rather enviable position of being so good, that even the ones that you think might not interest you, always turn out to be quite brilliant!! Listen to hem all, you will not be disappointed!!!

I stumbled across this after trying to simplify my life, without much success. I’d read all the ‘right’ books ( Marie Kondo, Nagisa Tatsumi and even the Swedish Art of Death Cleaning) but this takes it to another level. I think they are genuine and that they live the message. Very thought...Read full review »

Ruined the interview about the chap kidnapped by the taliban by making him rush his answers so you could ask him another question. Interviews like this need to be longer but you spoilt the interview because you were trying to push the interview along to you schedule. He spent months locked in a...Read full review »

Sadly these podcasts reflect the whole programme. If you get interviewees on to explain their side of any situation, you owe it to them to give them chance to explain before questioning. Constant picking & interrupting only serves to get the interviewer’s opinion across & is far from...Read full review »

I have really enjoyed listening to Emma's guests, and have learnt a lot about unique and important events that I was only slightly aware of. I mean to write a review each time and am moved to do so today after listening to "Sully" tell his amazing story, in such a mesmerising way....Read full review »
