Extremely Good
I am enjoying this one. Nick and Annie call themselves beauty insiders, but actually, I think they’re more like beauty outsiders: two millennials (wearied into mild cynics as most of us are) who have a complicated regard of the specific weirdness of this industry and its rapid changes. I kind of dig that it’s low key and casual, not overproduced and certainly not as cloying or grating as others I shall not name… The interviews have almost all been very good. A few minorly awkward bobbles I think could have been prevented by more earnest research but the podcast could really shape into something great if they stay focused and extend themselves into what works. And some of these reviews are unfairly harsh, in my opinion. To the commenters picking on Annie here and elsewhere, I say: she’s not cold or snobby at all? I think she’s funny and wry and a better listener than Nick, no shade. Furthermore, if you don’t jive with a couple of podcast hosts’ personalities, why get so bent out of shape? Nobody’s glued in your earbuds. Find another podcast you’ll connect with. There are thousands. Jeez.

More reviews of Eyewitness Beauty
I like this podcast but 40% of the episodes are them pontificating. I’d love to have time stamps to skip to the actually interesting portions

Incredibly informative with a range of diverse and interesting topics! The hosts have a really cute dynamic and sweet sounding voices. Easily the most intersectional beauty podcast I’ve listened to. Only criticism is that I need more goop takedowns & countess references.
