“& unfortunately he does 75% of the talking. he literally scrolls instagram while she’s speaking, & she calls him out on it, & he’s like “sorry your story isn’t exactly riveting.” the questions he asks these great guests are just bad, tone deaf, & not made with up-to-date thinking. Like asking a luxury perfumer if $500 fragrance has higher quality ingredients than a cheap fragrance, if the perfumer prefers to have a big budget or limited budget, or “isn’t there an endless supply of synthetic molecules?” The first 2 questions I just mentioned are the millennial minimalist-bias Ted-talk counter-thinking that less is better that spawned van life, tiny homes, & silent retreats. the 3rd question is at ep 22 35:00. Anyway, i’d hate to see a podcast suffer bc one oversteps their bounds. Hopefully she finds a new partner. x”
