Couldn't Deal
I've listened to a couple of episodes and the relentlessly perky narration is such a turn off. THIS IS A CRIME SHOW. Context is EVERYTHING. Giggling and perkiness strikes such the wrong tone, unless that's what you are going for? It would work for a cooking show or a show about, hair, or something. But murder? Don't act like you are just waiting to shove in a joke. I deleted all the episodes I had downloaded. Too many out there to bother with halfassery.Read full review »

The stunning act on what the Sheppard’s did to Eric, their son’s murderer, is profound. My jaw dropped. I don’t know if I could have ever done that. I still believe and eye for eye. I guess that’s what your series is about! Going above the bar even when life goes against you. Bravo!

I love the way they condense a big and often already forgotten story and make it easily digestible. Their banter is unpretentious and it feels like having a conversation with a good friend. Or in their case, sisters. Love it!

I’m not into true crime and haven’t listened to any podcasts until this one. My friend was raving about it and said I had to give it a listen. Holy cow. 😳 It’s amazing! These sisters are entertaining, compelling, and know how to tell a story. I’ve listened to them all now and can’t wait for more!
